Bugstar From Malaysia

Bugstar - many of us may not know who are they and where they are come from. Well, Bugstar is consist of quartert Farid (vox/guitar), Sepoi (vox/bass), Ejump (lead guitar) and Jim (drum) from Batu Gajah, Perak. The band started early since in thier highschool days. Just playing and jam around at that time until they discover themselves having our their own stuff out - thier own music. Then started to get shows and gigs everywhere. The genre they play is punkrock by the way in the veins of Spitalfield, Fall Out Boy, Midtown and The Starting Line. The name of the band isn't what really are today. They used to be known as BCKS then changed to the moniker and to Bugstar as today.

Currently, Bugstar are planning to play at our neighbour country sometime in March. With the newly realeased EP (can get if from Bugstar members only for RM3) , they're craving for more shows. Only the latest gig played was in Ipoh. The show wasn't the good comeback for them as they had rested for long time due to band members responsbility to further their studies.

But then they're good enough to impress me that Bugstar is worth to listen to and watch. With their own punk rock music - hard-knocking drummer, six strings solo, four strings go-go and powerful vocalist - can rock you out.
